Born into Clan Elsis. Laurel is missing a headwing and most of a backwing. From behind, her wings appear entirely green. Her clan marking is on the back of her right hand, with the "top" of the marking pointed towards her wrist.

Laurel and her "half-twin" Devlin (different mother, same birthday) are survivors of Shawnee's ascension to tri-wing status. While most of Shawnee's clan members allied themselves to her solely for the increased power that comes with having a true Clan Leader, Laurel is known to back Shawnee on a personal level as well, despite losing her father and a brother in the attack that led to her ascension. She cites Shawnee's behaviour immediately after ascending as the reason for her support, though she refuses to expand on what actually happened. As one of the few clan members to truly trust Shawnee, and because Shawnee rarely interacts with anyone other than her own clan, Laurel serves as Shawnee's representative in clan interests outside Shawnee's territory, while Devlin serves as her intermediary when her clan wishes to speak with her.
