...By the time the shock subsides, he finds himself on all fours, looking up at the city from his reduced height as he struggles to comprehend what has just happened, and what he will do now.
However, before he can fully get his bearings, his new nose catches the scent of something mysteriously pleasant (thought a bit salty), and he cranes his head around, seeking the source almost instinctively.
He finds himself staring into the smiling face of the yinglet that gave him the mysterious fruit, but before he can even begin to feel angry, he suddenly finds himself appreciating the red-haired yinglet, wondering why he didn't see it before; his long, swept-back mane, his keen, intelligent pink eyes, his long, masculine snout... and even his arrogant and teasing expression makes him seem more attractive in ways he'd never quite felt before.
Struggling with a brain full of new and conflicting priorities and desires, the traveler finds himself wanting, even eager, to find out how the sly, handsome male might toy with him next. So when the male takes him by the arm with a toothy smile, he immediately follows, despite still coming up with reasons he shouldn't.
As it happens, the handsome male is a rather important figure in the Val Salian black markets (so attractive!), and is in possession of many pretty clothes and shiny copper trinkets, which the traveler finds himself utterly taken by; strange, considering he had no interest in jewelry and decorations before.
The red-headed yinglet slyly explains that he has many pretty things and much good food, and is smart, so he is good at taking care of the ones he likes. Despite being a very independent human, the traveler finds himself excited by the idea of being kept and provided for by a male as handsome and clever as this!
By the end of the week, the traveler had adoringly followed the black marketeer around town to have his old human tunic tailored into something much more festive and pretty, so that he would be more pretty to look at! An unfamiliar sensation of pride fills the former human as his new companion leads him around the markets, showing him off in all his pretty clothes and shiny things.
On the final evening of the week, the traveler's cunning and handsome mate asks him for a dance, to which the traveler excitedly obliges; he rarely feels so nice as when he joyously hops and dances about, dressed in fine clothes and jingling with shiny trinkets for his wonderful provider.
Even though he remembers his life as a human, he can't remember anything comparing to the blissful and exciting feelings he is now experiencing on a daily basis. He will travel no more, for no place in the world could he be as happy as this.

Noticing the brown one has a heart with "!!!" not "???"
Aww, he's in love! This is a good ending, even if his new lover takes hair dressing advice from freakzoid
While not massively into the transformation process as a "thing" I instead find myself loving the aftermath, the (Hopefully) happily ever after the person finds despite his change. Love it!

It'd be an interesting thing if the stuff that turned the guy into a girl Yinglet reveals to allow the person to voluntarily transform into other beings and sexes. If so, that might be an interesting thing. He could make a career as a changeling emissary for the government of Ivy moth. Maybe even turn into a guy version of whatever Isher's people are.
The way I see this playing out, the new yinglet is there, kind of freaking out, when he's approached by this guy, who I'll call "Mullet" because he loks like he has one. (No, really, he does.) Mullet offers to take him in and help him acclimate to his new species, show him the ropes of being a yinglet, as it were. Mullet offers new clothes, which are somewhat akin to what Lopin wears only a little lacier. When Newbie objects to their slightly feminine nature, Mullet says this is really all he has available to give away, and if he likes Newbie can just go naked. But he's still too human in mind to do that, so he reluctantly accepts.
Mullet persuades Newbie to try some other stuff, most notably the tied-on tail fluff. Newbie, of course, has never seen a yinglet female and doesn't recognize the importance of that fluff, but it's like wearing a set of falsies in an all-male boarding school. Mullet also suggests Newbie dance away all that nervous energy, rather than just twitching all the time.
Mullet is pretty much taking care of all of Newbie's needs. He's finding it surprisingly nice. When Mullet suggests switching to skirts, by then it seems like a small price to repay his generosity. From there, it's not long before Newbie is looking like a nice, "receptive type" male yinglet. With some careful guidance from Mullet, in only a month or so Newbie is acting like one, too.
And that is where that last panel cuts in. It's a few months later, and Newbie has been gently guided, tricked, and coerced into being a pretty pretty thing. Mullet occasionally gives Newbie gifts - oysters and such, of course, but also jewelry and more clothes, even some makeup that works with his fur - and it would be terribly ungrateful to refuse them. Newbie has no idea how he'd live on his own as a yinglet, without someone helping him like Mullet did. He's very happy to be there with him, and for him.
And dancing is fun!

Ohhhh they certainly do; read one of the Val Salian Regional Field Guides about them! In short, only a few males are able to interact with the few females; most yinglet relationships are between the males, who are biologically equipped to "work" with each other in that way.
I like your writing in the description. It's straightforward and descriptive. I'd like to say it's unique. There are moments here and there that make me think, "yinglet." In the line, "...showing him off in all his pretty clothes and shiny things." you use the word "things." I would've used the word "jewelry" since that is what you're referring to. However, I find "things" is better than "jewelry" since "jewelry" is not likely to be in a yinglet's vocabulary.
