The mark 2 the most common star fighter .
A lot of ships started out as a mk1 or mk2 being modified into a newer design .
Though the mk-2 is outdated it remains my lego universe's most common and manufactured ship new ships are not common junkyard ships that look like a rainbow are common .

the mark 2 has a set of main blaster cannons and one heavy blaster in front with only two main engines it is what you would call the base line ship .
IF your ship is not as good as 2 mark 2s you may as well junk it and get something elce or just fly a mk-2
