
Ra (also Re or Amen-Ra, amongst many other names) is the Egyptian god of the sun, father of the gods, creator of the world and its creatures, and ruler of the sky, the earth, and the underworld.
Typically depicted as a man with the head of a hawk or a falcon wearing a pharoah's crown with a sun disc and Uraeus (the serpent sign of divinitY) atop it, I instead wanted to see him depicted with the body of an anthropomorphic hawk. And in his divine form, he should have a body that exudes power. Here, he certainly does.
