i always dislike my refs when i do them in between commissions because it feels like i've been doing it forever when i put in like 1/10 of the effort in i do in comparison to art for my commissioners, so i end up getting impatient and uploading them as is so i can make a 1000 refs for characters that i don't draw.
tl;dr i'll make better refs one day i promise!!!!!! /m\

anyway! i ended up selling the tiger character i made as a "fursona" and decided to make zajac a little closer to me in terms of personality, body type, etc. although my hair isn't that cool, or crazy. maybe someday. i've also made a couple tweaks to her design but nothing too extreme.

notes / what's changed:
• she doesn't have a side shave anymore. her hair is thick with wavy chunks, and falls about mid-back. she usually wears it down or in a side ponytail.
• i also scrapped the gauges. you can still give them to her if you want, but it's not really default.
• the nose ring and collar are also 100% optional and not at all important to her design.
• you can make her hair all blonde in lieu of the darker chunks if you don't feel like coloring those.
• the markings above her eyes are stripes/part of her fur and meant to look like "cat-eye" make-up. the blue underneath is mainly meant to look like dark circles. i imagine they're darker and more obvious when she's exhausted.
• those chibis are pretty lame so i definitely encourage you to draw her in something different. she wears mostly lot of black, warm colors, crop tops, t-shirts, etc.
