The GENS TRANSPHINGIS is known by...

* Claiming to have divine and shapeshifter blood

* Seeing magick and technology as one and the same

* Accepting incest as commonplace due to alleged divine blood; as a self-proclaimed pantheon, the Transphinx family needs to keep breeding within themselves

* Converting shapeshifters, furries, demigods and other entities to their ranks, using a magickal or technological device known as the Transphinx Seal

The Transphinx Seal as its heraldics, a sphinx in each clan base, each time showing different forms but always keeping sphyingic traits, that is, a feral body with a humanoid head, sometimes winged or showing some other uncommon means of locomotion

"Devour to Decipher" is the Gens' mote, which probably appeared first on Greece or Egypt during Roman rule. Long ago someone was connected to a pandimensional energy source, marked by the first Transphinx Seal. The clan this person or entity created then spread over many different worlds and realities, keeping pocket dimensions or crossroads as clan bases.
