Ingredients
8 Medium Mushrooms (Swiss Browns)
A handful of Green Beans
1 tbsp Honey
2 tsp Basil Paste or Fresh
2 tsp Garlic Paste or Fresh
Butter (enough to fry with)
Salt and Pepper to taste
Dash of Sweet Chilli Sauce (optional)
Method
1. Top, tail and cut beans into bite sized pieces
2. Clean, Brush, Peel or Wash your choice of mushrooms and slice
3. In a non-stick or baking sheet lined pan on medium heat (I use a Sunbeam on dial setting 5)
4. Put a knob butter in the pan and load in the mushrooms and beans.
5. Let them cook for about 10 minutes then add in the garlic and basil along with a dash of sweet chilli sauce and the honey; cook until mushrooms are cooked through
7. Season with salt and pepper to your personal taste
8. Let the lot blend and cook for a further few minutes then serve nice hot on toast or with some fresh crusty bread
Notes
If using fresh garlic about two medium finely minced cloves should do but put them in the pan first before the beans and mushroom to soften.
