Everyone knows how hard and dangerous it is to be a Guardian, to put yourself in danger and risk your life every time again and again to protect your mates' life in battles.
But did you ever think about how hard it might be to be the one always protected ? Always causing your Guardian's injuries and worries ? Yeah, that's not easier to be the one always feeling bad for his protector... Clever could tell you a lot about it.
« Arya you're an idiot... You don't have to protect me from EVERY single little arrow or performed spell... You know that... You should let me handle the danger all by myself sometimes... It's just like you don't believe that I might be able to dodge or block a simple gunshot with my phantasms... I'm a Mesmer, remember ?... And one of the best from all around Kryta... You should definitely trust me a bit more and stop acting like the over-protective idiot you are... After all, I learnt to trust you... And the truth is... I don't want you to be my shield... The truth is that Arya not only knows how bad he feels, but she feels deeply touched by his concerns, and she certainly feels sorry to make him feel that bad for her too. But, she can't help it, she's so afraid to lose him. Soooo... this is probably a lost cause. Unless Clever starts to protect her to make her understand that they must change this old habit and could start to protect each other AND to fight together.
