Recipe
2 pounds of carrots peeled and sliced.
2 tbs of ground ginger
1 cup of Whipped Cream
Salt and White Pepper (Their just for taste)
6 cups of Chicken Broth
2 Onions peeled and chopped
Optional Toppings
Sour Cream
Parsley sprigs, for garnish.
This is very easy to make. Just fellow these easy steps.
Add butter and onions cook onions until they are limp. Then, after add in sliced up carrots, pour in the chicken broth, and add ginger. Cover the pot and let the chicken broth boil on medium high heat. After, the chicken broth boils turned the heat and the let the carrots simmer until they tender.
Finally, once the carrots are tender pour the hot liquid into the blender, but not all of it once. Careful, not to spill the hot liquid on yourself. Make sure, to use a thick kitchen towel when holding down the cover of the blender you're using. After, you pour the hot liquid into a different pot and then you repeat this process again. Finally, you add in the whip cream and let cook until it boils. Finally, you are ready to enjoy some yummy carrot soup.
