His character Tamara, left, getting a strict training lesson from Max Blackrabbit's character Larocha, right. MBR actually did the original sketch here, I went over it and did the outfits, background, etc. So it takes on an interesting collab-like look I think. I got some inspiration for Larocha's outfit from kung-fu like oriental fighter games and Tamara's from oriental RPG characters of the sorceress type, not sure why, just felt like it fit pretty well with each character. I left them without undergarments. Don't ask me why. Felt like teasing.

Pretty harmless. In the future Earth I have tried to define, Larocha is Tamara's sensei at the Dojo run by Larocha and her husband, Jacky.
The lesson today includes just a bit more pain because Larocha found out Tamara has been sniffing around Jacky a bit too affectionately. Tamara has always had the hots/weakness for Jacky.
Anyway, great sparring pic of a miffed teacher showing her student who has the superior skills. Un-spoken suggestion being communicated of, 'stay away from my man.'

I opened this and went "wtf.. Larocha??" - since I've been seeing Max draw her for 20 years, I recognised her immediately, but it was weird seeing her in your gallery, :) I also figured I was recognising some of his style in Tamara's reaction shot and the particular pose.

Yup, it has been 20 years.
If you own some old Max folios you will see Tamara Fox with Larocha in some of the old, old, old prints Max did. Like PERFECT MEMORY 1998. Back then R Ignacio owned Tamara, then he put her up as an adoptable.
He spent the money I sent to get married. Probably one of the better uses for adoptable funds, I suppose.
And the sketch Fluff worked from is old too, like Sept 2006.

Pretty fantastic image overall, the colors and shading are gorgeous and the level of detail in the background and their clothing is delicious... while the ladies looking damn sexy themselves IMO the image is lacking somewhat on the impact department, it looks like the lady in the red dress didnt even tried to do the blow even though the one in the purple dress did, indeed, looks like it took a pretty strong blow. I just feel like the character giving the hit should have a more "strong" posing.

People like you, sir, make people like me extremely jealous. I can only paint a picture with words. If I could paint/draw, I have several characters I've created that I would love to see them on paper, including one that I created in the last week for a story that I came up with after coming to sites like this.
