Another massive workspace, now vacant. I think there was talk that this might make a nice retail space. Does anyone have a barf bag?
At one time, Bethlehem was a huge employer. Many immigrants from Europe came to this area to mine coal. Some of the lucky ones elected to travel, sometimes quite a distance, to work here instead of going underground. The work might have been a little cleaner and safer, especially as worker protections improved in later years.

If you do a web search you can probably locate the organization that is nominally in charge of site preservation. There were opportunities to get inside at times and hopefully there still are. I understand there are free concerts on the property in the summer, so maybe you could go to those.
The most interesting visit I had was well before this, but those pictures are all "analog" and not particularly good.
You are close enough that perhaps you could volunteer with the preservation group... They probably need help!
