Hm. The only mascots around here are all cowboy-themed, so I never had this kind of incentive to get invested in a team.

Me personally, I couldn't care less about the Superbowl. All that concerns me is making sure nobody finds out one of the teams is from my home region so they can't give me any crap if they lose or take out their anger on me if they win.

That said, if I absolutely HAD to pick a team to win, I'd go with the Patriots. Because the only sports entertainment I've had this year is seeing all the ways the teams that get stomped by the Patriots bawl their eyes out, and all the ridiculous ways the Patriots have been accused of cheating.

My money is on the Patriots because I'm noticing a lot of Seahawks fans already doing the same kind of bitching, which, to me, is not indicative of faith in a team, and I'll be rooting for them because nobody ever bawls their eyes out and accuses the losing team of cheating.

I'm also a Sea Hawks fan! May I get the same treatment? :3

Well, between the Seattle defense brawling on the final play and everybody pointing fingers and whining about who is to blame for the Superbowl loss, the Seahawks are now one of my absolute least favorite teams in the NFL (second only to the Giants, who are insufferable little brats when they lose AND when they win).
