Awww! That has to be one of the cutest pictures of Shippo that I've seen on FA. I really love Inu-Yasha in general, it's one of my favorite Anime. There will, however, always be a warm place in my heart for Shippo. I met my first Fox demon in a book by Mercedes Lackey, and little Shippo was the second one. To say I'm now very fond of them is an understatement. I had my own fan fox demon, once, but I had to let her go.

*Sighs* I created her several years before Cartoon Network started airing Inu-Yasha and had she survived long enough to see the anime, things might have been different. The problem was, sexy, female, fox characters are one of the most over sterotyped species on the net. To the point where someon made a joke drawing about a vixen vending machine. What wound up being my ultimate fustration with her, was that I felt completely powerless, trying to convey to everyone else that she was one of the most special characters I had ever created. It would be like trying to hear a single, genine musical instriment in a concert hall full of kazoos.

you should bring her back to life, i would love to see her at least once even is she is gone. she sound awesome.

I can't now, because it's been written into my character's backstory that she's dead. I could cheat and find some comic book way of bringing her back, but since my fursona is now happily married to the character of another RL artist and writer, with a page here on FA, there's no point. However, even  uniprae likes the idea of commissioning one of the really awesome, human drawing artists to give us a portrait of my Kitsune Lady at her prime.
