Gosh, I love this piece so much. <3 It illustrates the relationship between Raaza (saber-toothed lioness.) and Kala (albino sand boa.) so perfectly!

Raaza is a traveler. Her only companion for most of her life has been Kala. She doesn't view Kala as a pet at all, she views Kala as her best friend. Kala has always been there for Raaza, from the day Kala hatched and Raaza was still just a cub. These two are inseparable.

Kala spends most of her time coiled loosely around Raaza's neck as they travel. Alternatively, she will coil herself around Raaza's bicep or hide in a leather satchel that Raaza will carry at her hip.
