That moment aside, this is a rather stunning piece! The background, his eyes and the perspective really give off the feeling that sir Noir is charging right at us, ready for battle; I can almost hear the wind whistling! He looks fierce and determined!
Also, I love the shading and the predominantly warm colour palette; the atmosphere of battle, right there.
