He kind of makes me want to dig up and reinterpret some obscure mythological creatures myself...

By the way, for those of you who are wondering: The Chimera is a creature from greek mythology, and while the term is nowadays widely used for every sort of mix-and-match critter, it was originally thought of as a cross between a lion and a goat with a snake instead of a tail (an adorable interpretation of wich can be seen in the above image). None of the old sources mentions it having pincers or a lobster shell, but then again, the rule of cute justifies everything^^.
