January trade with 
luckyboy

As a contrast with the last one I did for Lucky, this one came almost as soon as he asked for it. We picked merfolk/Aquatic creatures for this month's trade, to coincide with something i've been working on since the first. While my personal project is still under way, I thought I'd post this early after Lucky greenlighted it.
This is the new springboard for all my digital art works, this level of detail or more is where i want to start this year's batch of full digital commissions. I learned a lot from the dragonsale and warcraft promo this year,and those styles are fun, but not fufilling enough when I look back on them. I'm pushing a lot of character redesigns this year, Two are already underway, and i'm rewriting character stories.
I've been busy this year.
I want to focus on character creation and visual development even more than before. I know I need to open my self to new influences and do more researching, I gotta progress more and more. Any tips or suggestions are more than welcome.
