I got a copy of Pokemon Omega Ruby from my friends from Christmas, which ended up being pretty interesting since I never played any of the original Generation III Pokemon games. I kind of skipped from Gen I to Gen V and never really played any of the earlier ones. So I had *no* idea what the point of berries that increased Beauty or Coolness or whatever were.

Until I caught a Feebas and realized there are no Prism scales in Hoenn. In Black/White the only way to evolve Feebas to the absolutely stunning and incredible Milotic, is to trade it using a Prism scale. X/Y doesn't even *have* Milotic, but it has Prism scales. Otherwise, you have to raise its Beauty to maximum. So suddenly I realized why those stupid berries were so damned important - if I wanted a Milotic, I was going to have to stuff Feebas' stupid face with Pokeblocks made from blue-colored berries.

And that's exactly what I did.

...maybe Birdtrainer should stick with raising birds. Fish don't really seem to be her thing :|
