The Horton Ho 229 V3 in the restoration facility at Udvar Hazy museum in washington DC. Beautiful enough to earn a single manly tear. I can't wait untill it is finaly fully restored.
The canopy is far left, and the wings are right.
Seeing this plane made my year. 2015 is going to be great!

Wow. They...they actually buylt that plane. And its its well at least the cab is in one piece that plane was made from wood and paper so wings gives up quickly

the built 3, and those are the original wings to the right of it in that stand. they are metal framed with wooden skin.

Will they ever put it together? It would be the only existing and if it could fly the only one flyable plane

They are restoring it to museum quality at Udvar Hazy air and space museum out side of Washington DC. it will not be flying sadly.

Seriously if you can manage a trip to Washington DC, I strongly recommend going there, even if the whole trip is for that alone.

well let me tell you man there are a tonne of awesome planes there including THE Enola Gay. and at least 1 other soul surviving plane.

i guess it is a B-29 (looks like a gigantic aluminium condom with wings on it xD). sadly im never gona make it to a museum like that for two reasons
