I've realised that I don't enjoy inking nearly as much as just straight realistic painting, so I believe this'll be the last finished inked piece I do for a long while. Just too interested in detailed paintings to continue with inks.
Sephren, who is my fursona. A dhole-raptor with some rabbit and demon, with questionable gender.
The ears and tail are black, but I was playing with colour here for fun.

I know what you're saying, I've experiemented with more types and mediums myself and ended up doing semi-realisting or realistic painting. My best work so far is also older now, almost two yesrs old: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13909186/ (it will display it properly if you click on the download button) I've actually chose this as my main work style. I can immitate other styles too, but this is my favourite. I think it fits me best... it's just, I'm having a hard time drawing these days. A full time job doesn't help, especially a very exhausting full time job... also, lumbago pain and other pains... days off are usually filled with other jobs too. I am not motivated enough... back then tho, I was, and progressed rather fast, and worked really hard. I only use a mouse, never had a tablet so that makes it even harder... but I'm used to it now. That pokemon painting took two weeks to do... x3
I guess the best explanation is that there are no breasts there, so the X's go there instead. Like, no boobs for Seph.
I kind of want to get them tattood like that, but it might hurt more than usual and I'm not even sure you can tattoo over nipples.
