Tumbling through space isn't exactly good for the fur X3
Karina as the Eighth Doctor. Though the Ninth Doctor will always be MY Doctor, I'll always have a soft spot for the Eighth, who only ever appeared in the failed movie. The poor actor was devastated, so worried that he not only killed Dr. Who with the failure of his movie, but had nailed the coffin shut and buried it six feet under. I always felt so bad for him, so I wanted to honor him in the little way I could by laying claim to his spot in this lovely picture.

^_^ so much awesome!! even though I don't recognize like.. any of the cosplays... *shrinks even smaller than usual and tucks my ears down with a soft kitten whimper* I'm such a horrible whovian :(
do you know when they are starting the series up again?? I haven't been watching BBC as much as I usually do XD and am too lazy to look it up on BBC.com XD

And no worries, we all have to start somewhere :3 I started out as strictly NewWho myself, before I finally did some digging and research. It's worth the extra effort, trust me :3 Some of the references made even in the new shows to the older stuff are a lot of fun when you can catch them <3
The new episodes won't start up until autumn, but on the good side that'll give you plenty of time to check out the original and what all the oldies are yapping about X3

yeah I stumbled into Doctor Who back when David Tennant first started I think.... my first episode was actually the last 2? with Christopher Eccleston ^_^ I want to find more of his season but I can never find anything... all I can find is those last episodes with Rose and the plastic people :(
that's just it... I've seen all of David Tennant and Matt Smith and everything up to current with (it's late and my brain isn't remembering his name.... the new guy XD) but I do want to see Christopher Eccleston's season and I'm pretty sure I've seen all of the stuff Netflix has on (I used to mooch off a friend until they had to cancel because they couldn't afford it anymore XD) and I hate to say it but I'm too broke for even Netflix right now.....
Gah, that sucks. Netflix had gotten even more of Eccleston's episodes on recently. Best thing I can recommend is the BBC site. There's supposed to be a way you can get a plug-in for free that'll make the site think you're in the UK, and they show the shows for free. Just can't recall all the details this late x.x
