lauragarabedian made this wonderful piece as a surprise gift for me. I was so surprised, but I'm sure I didn't show it. I'm a passive sorta guy, y'see.

It seems that Laura and foxamoore were in cahoots -- Fox had this indiegogo thing going to back his Come Find Me / Abbey Road recording, and I backed it ... ridiculously high. My reward was a private concert, which I livestreamed and recorded, of course. But while the concert itself was amazing, met with gorgeous weather and a beautiful night on my back yard deck, it was so much more. Fox and I discussed ideas surrounding a character theme musical composition, and Fox needed a "seed word" ... an idea, a concept, something to build off of. Little did I know that this seed word would also feed a secret masterful piece of artwork that Laura had in mind to contribute to the project. It took me a while to pick it, and it was all Laura could do to avoid nagging me overmuch about it. I had no idea her curiosity expressed two or three times was any indication of something greater afoot. ;)

Why did I pick introspection? .... that's a deep subject.

I was holding off on posting this until that song was realized, but Laura's doing a Drink & Draw marathon Wednesday night, and I wanted to let everyone know. What better than a pending post to help with that? :)
