Sometimes Jamie's head drifts off into the clouds... Eyes closed, feeling like the world around him drifts away... Or was it himself? A deep breath and long winded sigh, sending a tingling warmth through his body, like he was floating, lifted by his warm, fuzzy, relaxed mind. Feeling the energies of those around him, interweving with his own.
Unbeknownst to him, his magical essence was reacting to his headspace. Body taking on the traits of smoke. Dancing colorful fractals, akin to flames flickering amidst the haze. Observers feeling a strange sensation in the back of their mind.
Was he real? Was this really happening?
The rising gasps and sounds of awe around him snaps him back to reality. His feet re materialize, the critter stumbling as he lands, looking around to see what the fuss was about. Everyone was rubbing their eyes, like they'd just woken up from a dream.
This would be first - and certainly not the last time this mystical bunwuff performs this feat. The beginning of harnessing a newfound ability. Not simply shapeshifting. But bending reality and the perception the observer, their dreams and memories.

This is the first time in quite a while that I've tried writing a little story to go with a picture. I really hope people like it ;;
