Holy crap I drew Lekura!! I haven't done a colored picture of him since 2006! This is a sort of throwback to an older image I did of him: http://www.furaffinity.net/view/13103580/
Lekura just loves being a creeper. He's pretty much always standing there with his tongue out drooling staring at you with creepy bloodshot eyes. He's a mage on top of that, so to those that are aware of that his creepiness is that much more creepy ;p
His hair is a bitch to draw but I loves it so.

This was/is one of my FAVORITE characters. WOW nostalgia. I seriously dig this design, long braids and the shaved head are just so cool. Seeing this takes me way back to VCL or whatever that one site was. I like how you are sharing more about their personalities with us, I love getting to know peoples brain children especially ones that have survived this long. This guy in particular. I imagined him standing in a window like breathing on the glass just -watching- the people on the inside. o-o All his piercings are wonderful. Have I mentioned how stoked I am that you are drawing again?? ahhhhhh
Omg are you for serious??? It makes me so happy that out of all my characters he's one of your favorites! He's definitely one I don't draw as much that I didn't think many people even knew about. It is crazy to think I made up this character in 2000, 15 years ago… it's just insane. Thank you for the compliments on the hair, it's one of my fav parts of his design. And omg yes that is just the creeper vibe I am going for with him!!! Thank you so much for all the kind words, I'm glad to be drawing again and actually having fun with it! <3

<3 he looks as beautiful as ever. :3 he's such a striking character! Black and red are pretty dynamic most of the time but on him it's just glorious. plus, braids. and that mane!

Thank you SO much!!! I remember you commenting on that older picture I did of him! I also was like damn, I made him a really bright red with black and it's pretty blinding, should I change him?…. but I was like no, I can't alter a character I made back in 2000. That explains some of his design, though I've added in the mane and some markings, but it's just hard for me to alter characters I've had for so long.
And I'm glad the colors are not too blinding on him!

Sometimes things about a character just get set in stone, no matter hpw old they are. My [z] Character, i keep wanting to go make him more complicated color-wise, but his fairly simplistic white-and-purple design is just Him now. So i get that! Besides, Lekky's design looks great so no need to fix it if it ain't broke! I do like the mane though. it's like a back mohawk!
