So over the past few months I’ve been half outlining a few little story arcs about Jag if he had been in a different universe, one such in which superheroes and villains were real! It’s based on pieces of work done by Forest and Tsumi and Russet! I liked their little universe a bunch, so I decided to stick Jag in there for some good times and whatnot! He’s a little like his old self, but about ten times smarter when it comes to technology and whatnot!
So this is what happens when a normal kind of guy finally gets some bad news that he just cannot stand to hear. Years of buildup culminate in Jag deciding to do things his own way, big company laboratory be damned!!
To be a truly great hero, one needs either a power or a set of skills. To be a great villain, one just needs a motive, a plan and the ability to not get caught while committing crimes! A power or being good at something only helps sweeten the deal! Jag isn’t a great villain just yet; after all, this is just his origin story of sorts!
Perhaps he needs to find some friends in the world to help further his goals...

Jag as a villain doesn’t have any real super powers! In this universe he’s just incredibly smart and can come up with plans and technology after doing some research and some tinkering! They can range from cute gadgets like a potion to change your species for 24 hours or something more dastardly, like a shrink ray or perhaps one day, death ray!!
Jag’s chemical makeup in this universe is about the same as the one he’s based in! His body isn’t totally real, it just seems that way! He’s got blood and organs and all that, but deep down that’s all really fake and just made up of energy! Of course, when you create things for a living, you learn to harness that aspect of yourself! Who needs batteries if you can power something on your own!? If Dr. Spots needs to power anything he can simple clasp it into his own hands and play around with either the device on his chest or belt, either of which will allow him to power something he himself as created!
A lot of Jag’s research is based on pocket technology, black spots as it were. It gets created and you can infinitely store items within said space and pull them out at will. Jag wanted his former company to pick up his research so he could mass produce these, but instead he’s focused a lot of the tech into his lab coat’s inner lining. It just took a needle and thread and a heck of a few hours of patience!
