[2015 ID] Have Some MORE Dannys!
HAPPY NEW YEAR!
To officially open 2015, here is my NEW ID. I think I finally have a proper watermark- so no more scribbly signatures!
So, instead of picking ONE version of Danny for the marquee, enjoy FOUR- Lego-Boy Danny, Dan Kangaroo, Diamond Dog Danny, and Danny Shark- the Biggest Dork of the Seven Seas. They're all based on things that have been fairly prominent on my gallery.
- Of course, you guys know I LOVE The Lego Movie, so of course I made a little Lego version of myself [sup](Ain't I adorable?)[/sub]. Lego being Lego, you can create pretty much anything with it.
- I decided to use a kangaroo for my Crash Bandicoot persona. You guys know I'ma BIG fan of Crash Bandicoot, and while a bandicoot would have been the obvious choice, if I were to have a character in the CB universe, I want him to be something more unique- so, I went with a kangaroo (Yes, I know there's Ripper Roo, but he's the only kangaroo in the series- so it's a safe choice).
- Shark Danny is my attempt to make a SpongeBob persona. Er... probably not the best attempt to match the style of the show, but to try to replicate the style from SpongeBob is tougher than it looks. Also, sharks are pretty rare on the show, so I had limited references to work with to make my character. He would probably look better in a full-body pose, but I think that's a good place to start.
- Now, some of you may wonder why I even bothered to make a Diamond Dog persona, when I ALREADY have a ponyself designed and everything? Well, for Friendship is Magic, it's pretty easy to make ponysonas, since that's part of the appeal of the toys, creating ponies of your own, so ponies are infinite. But, Diamond Dogs just strike me as a bit more unique- I like Diamond Dogs, I think it's a cool species, and seeing Diamond Dog characters catch my attention, considering they are pretty infrequent on the show (Read: they've only appeared in ONE episode), so I made a Diamond Dog-self for FIM. Pretty cool, huh?
Well, that's all, guys! 2015 seems like a big year, and I'm sure these years pieces will blow away last year's out of the water. See you all later!
