So this is the finished product for my school art show!
I created two new characters, Aurora (the blind she-wolf) and Borealis, her guardian flying show leopard. He acts as her eyes and best friend.
I'm really really proud of this. <3
Now on to commissions!

It was a contest/art festival thing. I got 2nd place, which was upsetting because it's equivalent to participation as there's only 1st and 2nd place ribbons. 30 pieces get 1st, and the rest get 2nd. My other, Castle of Glass piece got first which was exciting! But what they didn't like about this was that I was forced to add a border in order to get anyone to print it, so they said it "didn't go all the way to the edge of the canvas" which it most definitely did. But that's okay. I'm still proud of it.

OK thanks! I've always wanted a pic of my dragon Shiro flying in the sky like that lit up by the northern lights. She's white so having all the colors reflect off her would be pretty. I give this idea to a lot of artists and I get extremely expensive quotes so I've waited.
Hi there! I know its been awhile since I first showed interest in a piece like this from you but I'm still very interested and now actually able to pay! I've honestly been searching for this and you for awhile through all my comment history lol but forgot hour name and missed it ending in me deleting our conversation.... Luckily there is a search and using the key words "blind wolf northern lights" brought it up as the first photo hahaha! Anyways if you are open for commissions could you shoot me a note? I figured I'd comment here again so you remembered me and my idea for the original picture. Thanks!!!
.....wow. o.o the premise is touching, and the execution of the piece is exquisite. looking back, ive had blind friends, ive had deaf friends that ive helped to do the things "normal" people take for granted....but ive never seen or experienced the kind of joy conveyed in your piece here. maybe i should take them for a good sprint next time ;p
w2hat i like about the piece is the symmetry....that its kind of divided into 4 "quadrants" or whatever, and theres action on the top left and the bottom right, but the pups super-expressive pretty face is more or less in the middle....it really draws the eye kind of everywhere without being too overwhelming, very well done ^_^ this is one of the things on your banner that drew me to your page, just to let you know.
