the game is great, but the controls are abysmal. it's bearable, but it makes certain battles a real pain.

i'd definitely recommend it because it's a fun game, but it tends to drag on after a while. i still like it more than twilight princess, though

Lmaoo I'll definitely keep all that in mind. I'm sure I'd rather play it for the story, hoping the controls and the game dragging on don't screw my enjoyment up too much.

well, my opinions are a bit different than others' on the zelda series.
Wind Waker was my favorite game in the series. And i really enjoyed the story for Skyward Sword! it was quite excellent c:

though the game may have dragged on because i was tired of playing zelda games (i tried to blast through Twilight Princess and then Skyward Sword right after).

but yeah, for me, at least, the controls and the game dragging on didnt dampen the whole experience that much for me. it just made battles harder xD

WW was a fav of mine as well. I never got the chance to play the original version so I had to get it when it came out in HD.

yeah! i loved how Wind Waker felt like it was all blue skies for miles x3
plus the music and art style helped it feel so much more alive :D
i nearly cried when i saw a side-by-side comparison of the old version vs the HD version ;u; it was so pretty! i had to get it

but yeah, if you liked those bits about Wind Waker, and if you find the concept of riding on the back of a giant flying bird cool, then you'll probably really enjoy Skyward Sword. :3 there's a LOT of hidden stuff in it and things to do in it, too! (Plus Beedle makes a triumphant return!)
