This short story came from another one of my 750Words bursts, where I had to get the idea out and visible to keep it from driving me nuts. It's intentionally short, but I may revisit it in the future to expand on the world that our actor resides in. Our actor is genderless, but one may observe that our actor may not be entirely human.
An ePub version may be coming. It appears that OpenOffice's ePub export utility is pretty pants, and doesn't appear to offer some of the features that other utilities do, such as preservation of formatting. I just need time to build one.
