Mist / Frost Hoof

A pony from a small mostly-unknown tribe at the Frostlands far far north - maybe vaguelly heard by the cristal kingdom. Frost Hoof is a Disciple of master Blizzard Mane - Guardian of his tribe against the many storms - and was seen as naturally gifted and the future guardian of his tribe...
Alas so it happened that during a mission, a tempest hit the area and while his powers would keep him safe, he could not fully prevent the glacier he was on from colapsing... Exausted, hurt and drifting away he lsot contiousness.. He awoke briefly to see glimpses of the sea... and much latter was found washed ashore, nearly dead.
He was seen as a mere earth pony - his marks are tribal painting and had faded before he was found - nicknamed Mist due to his mane tip / tail tip and hooves being a bit translucent...
Once he recovered he returned the kindness by helping others - he knew how to work with wood, something he was training to before he learned of his gift.
At one moment he met Zacora and not only got the suplies to renew his markings, but also renewed his spirit, recovering his cutie-mark, faded since the incident that brought him here...
Frost Hoof told his tale at the edge of winter, pledging himself to serve Celestia in debt of all that saved him and helped him recover his strenght... Yet he is likelly to stay longer than that for all the new friends he made.

He stands out as a seemingly earth pony capable of walking on mist and clouds and capable of using a limited form of magic:
- He can affect the weather (usually dispersing clouds or protecting agaisnt storms) by using (kicking) runic menirs;
- He can cast spells during winter, restricted to cold, mist, ice and snow - When not on winter, he needs a focus, usually a runic stone worn as a necklace.
His mane is worn similar to Zacora during winter when it is "frozen solid".. And during summer he is seen often leaving a trail of snowflakes that disapear before touching the ground - a side-effect of a heat-protection spell.
