But they are afraid of him too, because Tabaqui, more than anyone else in the jungle, is apt to go mad.

Next year a new Jungle Book movie is coming out, and the voice cast is so odd. First, you got something really cool like Ben Kingsley voicing Bagheera, but then Christopher Walken as King Louie. But since Walken doesn't change anything when he voice acts, and his voice stands out so much, I'm now just going to picture a giant ape on the set of SNL talking about more cowbells.
i thought i would pop by to see whats up because Ive been a bit inactive for months. to my joy and surprise, so many coyotes have appeared from the magical sands.
every coyote picture i see just inspires me to write more and more of my story project. coyote the trickster just so happens to be a main supporting character after all ^_^. i am writing him as very enigmatic. he has a counterpart which is half of the untrustworthy unpredictable trickster with all the natural magic. while the primary coyote is more of a Dumbledore type figure yet the thing about him is he keeps his tricks and plots and facts he knows so well hidden that he is a complete charmer. you naturally trust him even if you know you shouldn't and even if his end game may not include you highly, you almost forgive him for it and let him use you because of that toothy smile. right now i am trying to decide which coyote of mine this picture reminds me most of. ^^
i missed getting to say hi last fall at the con. but i hope you guys make it out to Rainfurrest 2015. i had a very rough patch only a week after the con, a death in the immediate family. so my life has been a bit one day at a time for the last for mounts. it has made my online, and art time almost disappear, but little by little it has been writing that is helping me through and healing me. by odd coincidence, i started writing the story before, with some "all to close to reality" circumstances that were a bit too ironic when they happened for real unexpectedly. Though i am choosing to view it as a positive source of motivation and a sign that i am meant to finish these books, even if i am the worlds slowest author. Granted, it is becoming a much darker story than i had first imagined, but it is very powerful. For better or worse , some of what i was writing as fiction came true for me. I may as well use my knowledge and experience to propel the story.
^_^ The chain of events that lead me to be inspired with the idea for my story would have never come to be without those wonderful books of Mikael's featuring your wonderful, mischievous, and adorable artwork covers. I hope to someday finish, with illustrations included, and get to show both of you what your combined muse helped inspire.

After a whole day of hiking in the Olympics my (nonfurry) friend and I end up in Port Angeles. "Let's get some Thai." I said, my friend agrees.
We walk by a pub and see a cheeky coyote painting placed on the wall outside.
"What a cheeky coyote." I said.
My friend stares at the cheeky coyote for a full minute. "Let's go here." He finally announces. I agree.
Food was good. And while eating it clicks in my brain that cheeky coyote has a style that looks similar to an artist I follow here. And two days later after going through your gallery it was indeed your work.
It's brilliant stuff. I like your cheeky coyote. You have such a distinct and likeable style that evidently is good at inviting people in :) .
