I'd say the inspiration for Mr. A is probably 85% Pepe and 15% Flower - especially Pepe's very casual yet relentless pursuit of his prey

But yeah, Mr. A's 4 legged look is definitely closer to Flower than Pepe. (PS - My other alltime favorite skunk is Mam'selle Hepzibah from Pogo)

Yeah, it really is a mix... Although i'm refering to the drawing style rather than the personality, which is definately "casually relentless" like Pepe as you said. I've never really watched Bambi so i can't say about personality:P And i've never heard of Mam'selle Hepzibah, Wikipedia says she's Pepe's archetype?

Well i've never seen Pogo, so you can't blame me for assuming it:P Looney Tunes however, it was on TV so many times i may have been brainwashed as a child... I've seen saara's gallery before though, and there is some art of Hepzibah in there after all;)
