A little quick doodle I made based on the people out there who don't think that scalies should have boobs. I'm pretty sure there are A LOT of animals out there that we draw aren't supposed to have them either! :P
I mean you can always go down that road of "these are talking animal people, you gave up reality the moment you gave them the ability to speak"
JUST ENJOY BOOBS, DAMNIT. OR NO BOOBS IF THATS YOUR THING. but don't impede on other's enjoyment of big bouncy smooth scalie tittays, or the lack thereof!
preference =/= how all art should be
just a little lighthearted doodle!

having owned parrots before and them grooming my ears, eye lashes, and face they are extremely dexterous with their beaks and tongues, they can be plety gentle but I'd imagine it'd be more like this https://www.pixoto.com/images-photo.....t-16848859.jpg hah
Boobs, boobs everywhere !

Evidently, the bird become very self-conscious that she's not a blue-footed booby. XD
Not that I agree with the furry fandom's weird antics but I suppose its the way of saying
I don't mind your way of thinking/life/ect.
That doesn't mean I want to be slapped in the face with your way of thinking/life/ect/
so do what you like. personally boobs are part of the female body especially if your character is a female anthropomorphic creature

I don't know if someone mentioned it already, but I saw someone on Tumblr suggest something interesting about it. It's for fantasy settings tough.

oh my god don't get me started D:
this reminds me of this time i saw some artist make a pic and a big ol' rant about rabbit anatomy and how other furry artists and cartoonists draw them ALL WRONG. they drew one the cartoon-y way and wrote all over it explaining everything wrong with it. the lame thing about this is that they had a rabbit fursona, that in addition to being a (presumably) TALKING rabbit, with the ability to make human-like facial expressions, and having a bipedal, human-like form, THAT WORE CLOTHES, it was also a bright ass vibrant RED colour.
like, okay??? i was SO tempted to point this out but i didn't say anything...but it's pretty much an all or nothing thing, here. either you find ANY drawing of an animal that is anatomically different or varies in any way from its natural form unacceptable, or you let it go and let people be CREATIVE and draw creatures """wrong""" even with say, floating eyebrows (you know how in some cartoons they have eyebrows that like, hover ABOVE the characters head attached to nothing?? ) i mean...jesus. sorry about the rant, that was just one of the worst instances of blind hypocrisy i've ever seen AND I'M STILL MIFFED ABOUT IT XD
i love this, though. i like how the bird character in the second part is looking down at her boobs blushing like OH SHIT
very cute and funny way of pointing out some stupid crap that shouldn't even be an issue. nicely done, love it! :D

A more serious answer: Anthros are supposed to be animals with human forms, or vice versa, so they would share in certain features. Like tits.
It bothers me WAY more to see an anthro female with udders or crotch-nipples than with more human-like breasts. And cutting them out completely because "said species don't have them" is overlooking the concept of an anthro species, in my opinion.

Ah, the perennial debate... Putting some critical thinking behind art decisions certainly has its merits, and can help with suspension of disbelief when the subject matter is intended to be taken seriously (or with some attempt at "realism") but on the other hand, when you're dealing with anthropomorphic characters, I think it really just comes down to the individual preferences of the artist and of the audience.
Nice take on the topic at any rate!

On the one hand, I'm a firm believer in biology and things making sense, but on the other hand, like you pointed out, suspension of disbelief is out the window once we set them upright, give them sentience and the ability to talk. So why not boobs? Boobs are fun.
I don't tend to give my alien ladies boobs, though. Mostly because that's all anyone ever focuses on, and don't bother to read descriptions. Hrm....
I LOVE this doodle though! So clean and simple :) Instant fave

Bird: I…
Lizard: Yeah, that's what I thought… Not to mention your bellybutton on top of that.
Bird: You have a bellybutton, too.
Lizard: Yeah. What does it matter?
Bird: …Why do we both have tits and a navel?
Lizard: Beats me. Do they make us look any less hot?
Bird: No. But birds naturally are still the hotter species any day of the year!
Lizard: Birds? Hotter than lizards? Hah! Don't make me laugh!
