Damn. That's an interesting take.

I do so enjoy these song lyric narration comics. They're an interesting creative venture that I think you two have done quite well. I still remember going over the comic for "Mr. Brightside" and found myself quite interested and curious as to when another may come.

Am I the only one who feels a deep pity for Drip? I know he is evil, and I hate his actions, but I pity the road that was paved before him. The song is...really suitable for Drip, especially considering what Jack said in "Why do you do what you do?" about Drip having "killed in the name of his own personal lust, but it having always bothered him slightly." It proves that Drip DID have a conscience somewhere, and chose not to listen to it. Seems to be a similar situation happening in this comic...maybe I'm wrong, but that's what I get from it.

Daamn, that is deep, and dark. I kinda feel sad for the guy...

Even the "No Parking" sign agrees with Drip's monologue. That's a bitch-slap.

After seeing this and Thoughts of a Dying Atheist I could reccomend a few songs that could fit this template.

The End by Blue October for example, a song narrating a guy committing double murde on his ex and her lover before killing himself for example.

Dirt Room, also by Blue October, a song narrating the sadistic fantasy of wanting to bury someone alive covered in ants, bees and honey and then taking a picture of it for his album cover.

Oh I'm sure there's tons of songs that could get this treatment. The determining factor for which ones I do are: #1, it needs to be a song I really like #2, I have to 'see' the story in my mind as I listen to the song. It's an organic process I can't really force. I have four or five songs I've done rough layouts for I haven't finished, and a graphic novel of an entire album I'm planning to do.
