...I've been practicing drawing braided hair. Sugar is one of the girls that braids her hair when it gets in the way. Candy is another (or rather, she gets Tange or Angel to do it...she still hasn't quite figured it out). Anyway, here's a sketch.

I do prefer girls to wear their hair open though - due to a tendency of mine to play with it ^^ A braid tends to get in the way with that. But still it suits her well.
