As fate would have it, Armin and Edgar's uneasy friendship ended up growing into something more as time went by. Armin was the first to come to the realization, and was eager to reveal his feelings to Edgar, although the fear of him rejecting him prevented him from coming out during every chance he had. Meanwhile, Edgar struggled with his own emotions, not knowing if what he felt for Armin was love or not. Love had been an unfamiliar sensation for so long after all.
It call came down to one day when Armin decided to confront Edgar, whose mind filled with confusion as he felt the bigger avian approaching him, closing the distance between by inches until their chest feathers could touch. It was at that moment when Armin decided to abandon all hesitation and simply go for it. And Edgar, though shocked, only took a minute to finally clear his mind of all confusion. Their feelings made clear to one another, they passionately shared their first kiss.
