Every now and then I remember that I have five copic sets and do something with them. I need to do something with them more often 8I
So without further babbling, here's Charcoal! The first name that came to mind for her was Esmeralda, but then I saw something and thought: "Eeehhn, gonna do the nice thing." And it didn't take me long to think of another name I liked. Musing on the idea of calling her 'Char' or 'Coal' for short- OR BOTH MAYBE? WHO KNOWS LETS GO NUTS WITH IT.
I have other traditional work, but I feel like an asshat uploading them. I dunno if you guys would mind seeing more stuff like this?

Ugh thank you so much skdfjsdf I love these markers, but I'm super impatient so I hate flipping through the little color swatch booklet to find the right colors but when I don't the colors look like poop so KSJdfsf

Haha, All my markers are getting old and are all just jumbled into a box. I need to learn how to organize them but that requires space I don't have. XD
Also I'm debating on either getting new markers or a cintiq. Not quite sure yet. hmmhmmhmmm...

I'm not quite there yet, but then again I've only really used my markers a few times Dx I wish copic had a bag that would hold all 216, but the biggest bag pack they make only holds 72 :C Then I'd be hauling around five bags. UNLESS I put them all in a big duffel bag but then..

And I love her lighter colors! I have a thylacine who I tried to draw on the leucistic scale, so she'd be lighter than the average thylacine. But damn it would be so cool to see those babes together aksdjfskdfj

OH NO WHAT AM I GONNA DO WHEN THESE DRY OUT?! And damn, I'm sorry about that! I hardly ever use the 'classic' side on my sketches, it's so hard to control and get an even, smooth look from. I think I tried once on a commission, and was devastated when all these hideous blocky lines showed up- and I tried to blend them but I ended up scrapping the comm and completely redoing it. (And oh my gosh you aren't kidding about the expensive thing. I literally had to decide between Savannah trips or these markers as I bought them set by set.)
And thank you! ;w; I'll definitely do that then <3 Hopefully I'll get better at taking pictures with natural daylight and not at night by the light of the Jack Daniel's recycled lamp 8C

I'm actually about to buy one! I'm looking at an hp deskjet, it's nothing super fancy but hp is a good brand and it'll work for what I need it for. (Scanning, printing, copying, and it's wireless like just about every other printer nowadays!) It's pretty crazy, I'm getting past the point of 'using everyone else's stuff' and getting into that kind of exciting but also hella expensive 'oh, I should buy my own stuff now and own it like an adult'.

It's beautiful, historical, it's a perfect blend of nature and urban. Lots of shady trees, parks, fountains, the river, the beach, the shops, the forts, it's really like a paradise.
I think in total I own about 30 books on Savannah, Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil (A story centering around Savannah) is my favorite book, I listen to Johnny Mercer and Frank Sinatra's covers of Johnny Mercer's music all the time, I've visited the city about once a month for the past three years, and I am moving there in a few months.
So from my point of view, I'd say it's perfect beyond words. But if you're someone who doesn't like gardens or ghosts or a mix of the old and new- you might not like it. (It's no New York or California, but I like it that way.)

Ive only been down there once, I live in gatlinburg (about 7-8 hours away) but his family lives up there and offered him a job up there. I always worry to much, but Ive hard so many great things about the school, and it was so freaking beautiful down on river st. ;w; his aunt owns two women and a wearhouse (not sure if you have heard of it) but its a nice little store there.
Will you be going to school there? (also sorry if this is crowding up your comments...Ive just been meaning to ask and felt it might be rude to just randomly msg you ;w;)

I was actually considering visiting Gatlinburg in February to kinda de-stress in the mountains!
(And I've only been there once before, ahaha)
I'm definitely moving because of the city and not because of the school, but that's not to say the school isn't good (If you're mentioning SCAD- you might be talking about Armstrong) But I wouldn't mind going to school there if everything works out, but it's not my priority. My main deal is just BEING there u w u

Scad is the one I'm talking about, and it is a beautiful plase so I understand that. I hope everything works out and that your move goes well ^ ^

And hell ye caracal cats are so cute. Someone said I should have named her caramel the caracal and while I can give mad respect to the wordplay, I like charcoal more than caramel (reminds me of the soot sprites in Spirited Away <3 )
