Okay so I was hesitant to post this one.
My friend was working on this song for a long time he never got past the main meoldy. But he had this whole story. He recently wrote a narrative poem for it. And one day we'll work on a short film for it but that'll tkae a lot of money.
Basically when I got Fruity Loops 6 XXL I NEEDED to make something. I knew the melody, I had helped him work on it many times.
Well I just decided I'd make a full song peice of it. This is not complete by any means. Theres some piano work we want to do live, some percusion that needs to be done live (to give it better justice than midi files) and as well as live bells.
This is just the strign arangement which I would DIE to hear performed on actual strings.

Hmmm I like this piece...and I agree that it would sound phenominal with actual strings (thinks I wonder if I could redo this piece with orchestral strings) Impressive composition skills and a very mysterious sound that reminds me a lot of music I once did couple years ago on MTV Music Generator 2 for the Playstation 2....ahhh those were grand days. But enough of that nonsens right now...marvelous piece...give your friend my warmest regards and tell him he has some talent just waiting to be unleashed, that also goes for you as well.

The entire song happened because he was in music a music theory class....they were given like..three notes to begin with and had to make a song and he said it just seemed obvious.
But thanks a whole lot. There's a lot more that could be added to it...It'd just take some time. The more I learn about FL I go back every now and then to look at this.
Maybe I'll be able to give it at least SOMETHING ressembling the sound it desserves.

This soooooo needs to be performed on real strings, LOTS of strings, full scale orchestra O_O
I think you should look into Reason, its got the power to do some incredible stuff, I'm not too sure of what all it can do as I'm working with maybe a total of 6 hours of experience with it, experience without a midi controller even :C

This reminds me of something you'd hear in the game Hexen, or heretic.
This is pretty cool. Well comprised, and definitely could use a small something to make it less like Midi.
Modplug tracker is a good tracker, and you can save as MP3's. But then again, you have FL studio 6 (I think you said in a different song) sou, you might already be able to do stuff like that already.
