Xacaren's have a very unique type of technology, from an outwardly view their technology appears to be primitive stone with decorative designs etched into them. The decorative glyph on the out side is the Xacaren glyph for fire, hence the name Fire Stone. In the case of the Fire Stones they are anything but decorative. Fire Stones are a highly advanced weapon that can fire many deadly and explosive energy blast. Inside the stone is a net work of crystalline structures arranged into computer processing and circuitry that helps drives the weapon mechanism, towards each corner is a set of high capacity stones that hold large amounts of energy. When active the glyph glows blue in color and is on its kill setting, when the glyph is green its on a stun/kinetic burst, as the weapon's energy is depleted the glyph will gradually fade from bottom to top. The beauty of Xacaren technology is how they make use of pressure capacitive crystal stone structures to recharge the weapon, The device can be powered by smacking the stone on any surface, the harder the surface or impact on a surface the greater the charge. Typically when used for fighting the user will have one in each hand and to reload the charge will simply smack the two Fire Stones together, giving the weapon about about 8 to 10 kill charges or 18 to 20 stun charges, the weapon only maxes out at about 35 deadly charges and 70 stun shots. The weapon is highly effective with the Xacaren hand to hand fighting style.

The Holster Stone is used to hold the Fire Stone in place for easy access. This stone is an important part of the weapon system, since is uses biometric relays to the Fire Stone, which prevents others from disarming and taking the weapon and using it against them, the weapon will not operate if they do not have the Holster Stone attached to them. The Holster Stone operates by bio molding onto the users body, temporarily becoming part of the users body, until the user decides to remove it.
