After adding the shark dude up in the railings, I had to paint one close up!
Used a mako shark because I had always thought their lower jaw was rad even though the one in the other pic is more like a great white (which I may do later on as well)
the group can be found in my scraps http://www.furaffinity.net/view/23543888/

This is a really stellar rendition of an anthropomorphic shark and kudos for picking a species that a lot of people seem to overlook. I am quite enjoying how you have designed his goggles and headset as an all in one setup that looks ergonomic and well thought out for the shape of his head.
The way the patterning on his uniform follows the wrinkles in the fabric is highly believable and has a natural flow to it. Did you use a brush for it or was it a texture? Either way, you have pulled it off. Sweet work, Stu!

Amazing piece. Anatomy is pretty much spot-on, and you did a great job rendering the texture of his uniform. My favorite thing about it, however, is how crisp it looks. The colors are vibrant and clear, with just the right balance of highlight and shadow. It's something I'm struggling with myself; my colors always end up looking muddy and faded, with too much highlight.
Great work!
