I made blank books! And took pictures. They're based on the "Messiah's Handbook" book binding by Richard Bach, as well as the book binding guide here.
I love how a sheet of fabric draped over a chair makes photos look all professional to the untrained eye. XD Cropped and adjusted in GIMP, assembled in Inkscape.
I am still working on finishing this project. Just finished sewing the inside signatures on the other SEVEN books (not pictured here), and have supplies to make their covers now, won't be able to assemble them until I get around to buying some more cheesecloth. Can't wait until I can have this project done, and the stack of WIP crap from it gone. :B

They're ridiculously easy to assemble. :D I made the cover bigger than in the tutorial I linked, and wrapped it with cloth...and only glued the inside 1/8" of the endpapers to the inside of the signatures, but it was really easy overall. ^__^
Or y'know. Maybe wait until the mayhem from your whole auction and donation and move thing dies down. :B
