Hmmmm... well to answer your question from the shout on my page..

I think you ahve the coloring set. At least for the basic shading / base colors. I think the highlights stand out a bit too much.. It almost looks like it's snowing.
I think for highlights, what I tend to use is a low pressure / opacity with a large brush first.. then I make the brush smaller and user a brighter color, pretty much what you do in your traditional drawings. XD

As for outlining... you do some great work with traditional (whichi I can't do). You can probably scan that and color on top of it? Perhaps?

I actually made the shines on her look like snow on accident, and liked how it looked, so I kept it! CX I'll try my best, the next time I go digital. Could you possibly watch me, so you could tell how I do on my next digital pic? :3

Ohhh, I see. I figured it was intentional, since most people who transfer over to digital (assuming you have tablet) use the same pressure, drawing style... so I wasn't thinking it would get that different. Unless you used a mouse.. that's a different story.

I believe something called the "Intuos" is the better model.

Yeah, she got it when it first came out, and kept it, cuz she couldn't afford a new one, but it still does a good enough job. Wacom is a really reliable tablet company, afterall! :3
