Ah, I loves your sketches, they're always very pretty and detailed lookin'. And I love the pose! The heart tail tip amuses me greatly xD The only thing that's not perfect is her left eye looks too high as compared to her right. Just a tiny bit. But the rest of it looks fantastic, well done so far :3

Well, my sketches do start out rough and I refine them down to where I want all the final lines to go, erasing my guidelines as I go so I know what I'm doing. This is what my sketches look like at the point where I break out my pens and start to ink. I nearly always put in all of the details, then just trace out the lines I'm keeping with my pens, after which I erase the pencils.

And you're right, her eye is a bit high. xD; I have such a hard time making things like up on a face... I didn't even notice this till you pointed it out, so I'll be sure to fix it later.

And the heart tip was actually the commissioners thing. I tried to convince her to flip it around, but she very much wanted it like it is, so who am I to argue? xD

I think I'm happiest with the wings... they're probably the best I've done so far, skin wings are hard!
