Found this little bugger living out on my Sago Palm where all the little irridecent green spiders used to live...

I'm not seeing many of them around anymore so I"m a little worried that this big one has scared them off...

He ate them. That looks like a banana spider, which is pretty poisonous. Careful with him.

Queue to get on and tell me what it is.

Golden Orb Weavers aka Banana spiders are poisonous but less so than the black widdow. I've done my research and I'm ... well... fairly immune to spider poision.

Black and Yellow Argiope to be more precise. Garden Spider is too broad a range of spider to be used.

Back when I was scared of spiders, I used to make an exception for these suckers. Now I just downright love them. There was one on my porch. I named her Sticky. :3

I doubt that the big girl scared your green spiders off. Their vision sucks, and wouldn't pose a threat because she prolly couldn't SEE them. X3
