What happens when the one you feel for is injured in a horrible way, and how do you react?
This story developed pretty rapidly following Aditya's injury before the All Star Week. Knowing exactly what Kevin would do as soon as he got the news, I got the entire sequence planned out, then had to wait on people to be free to rp out the scenario with me to get the story finished Then I had to transcribe it all into Scrivener because otherwise it screws up the formatting.

There is SO much I could say about this chapter. But that would take forever, and besides, I'll just tell ya later. XD
This was amazing! Adi has so much love in his corner. He's got so many people who were there for him, both physically and spiritually.
Then there's Kevin: a.k.a the world's sweetest pangolin...well, one of them anyway. Definitely one of the top 3.
He's so compassionate, caring, and overall adorably friendly. But it comes to think that maybe he cares too much? To most, that would be an issue, but to me that just proves that he's really a gentle, loving individual. The fact that Adi's condition had such and effect on him is a clear sign of how invested he is in the ones that he cares about.
The crochet pangolin was a very sweet gift in it's own right; Kevin Malka couldn't be there, so Kevin Malka Jr. got to say in his place. Adorable.
And I'm gonna say it: Ada is one of my most favorite characters to see written. He's hilarious, witty, charismatic, and always seems to know just what to say to put people at ease. Such a swell guy he is.
(On another note...I totally approve of the Onca/Ada ship. But that's another story...) >;3

Giant pangolin has a giant heart! "Kevin Jr." was a sweet touch to add in, hee hee. The chat between Kevin and Ada was well done, I think Kevin would be too shy to admit that he has feelings for Adi to anyone else. Even in a hospital bed, Adi is a very calming person to be around. I guess his motto could be "Stay Calm and Stay Calm."
Well, Kevin Jr got added in because I had finally recieved him the day that Adi got injured, so I had made twitter posts about the crochet pangolin as Kevin, and then the injury happened, and I knew instantly what would be happening with Kevin's gift.
Kevin, IC, has admitted to a few close friends his feelings about Adi (off the top of my head, Hank Sawyer, Barnaby Jazz, and Daryl Conte know, as well as a few more I don't recall off the top of my head), who either learned while trying to comfort Kevin, or while Kevin was, on Saturday evening, drunk out of his mind.
But, yeah, C, Adi's definitely a calming presence. Well, at least to Kevin. To, say, Julian, he's a bit of an infuriating presence.

Above all, I'm curious about how Ada thinks of Kevin, after he mostly ditched the ASW atmosphere just to stay close to his friend. Lots of potential there, and I'm definitely looking forward to see both you and Ada bringing that out.

I don't know if that first Ada was meant to be Adi, but either way, who knows. I mean, they don't get many chances to interact, just hanging out a bit when the other's team is in town, 4 times a year. The only reason Kevin spent so much time with him this time was because Adi was injured. What with Kevin's inability to confess his feelings to Adi proper, I don't know where they will go from there, but you're right, it will be interesting to see.
