It sounds like your.. using a sharp 4 in the melody with a minor chord, giving it a diminished quality. This would be 1 of my theories of the unsettling effect of the music! Instant fav!

Actually, I don't think I sharp the 4 once in this song! xD (I natural the 5 a little bit, though, which has a similar effect, but not in any of the main themes.)

It's a little bit bizarre to describe a real key to this one. It resolves to F# min, but it sort of modulates into C# min and E min a bit. The accidentals I use in the actual melody parts (sometimes) are that I sharp the 3, 6 and 7 and natural the 2 sometimes also.

Weird, huh? It shifts modes and keys constantly. :P

I'm really digging this. A very unsetteling tune, almost perfect for a dungeon or an Italian horror!

Aww, come on. None of the GBA Castlevanias were crap. Only Harmony of Dissonance was.... less than stellar.... and it's music was ass.
