From the Second book of the Red Fox of Change. Ceria the desert Witch. As for the Pirates there are the fighters and there are the workers that make everything for the fighters. The Pirates Guild has its main base and its a virtual city located in a mountain. Such a place needs leadership and order. Normally Cyan holds things when shes at base but when she is not someone else holds the reigns. Sure the Pirates have a Mayor that is in charge or is he really?

Ceria was a Desert Witch of the Sytar. They are mystical revered and very much wanted by the Sheiks of Sytar for their being able to predict the future along with other unexplained things such as magic. In such an age as the world is in Magic is rare and very much not believable. Still all great powers have a want for such people for advice and more. Ceria was previously captured and taken to a Shiek where she was part of his harem for a time. Then she became a prize of war and was being taken to the capital of the empire when she was freed by Cyan the pirate.

Cyan always gave the freed slaves the option of joining the pirates or be on their own after release. Most joined the Pirates and became citizens of the base. Over time the base grew and the Pirates worked on the mountain making caves and more as the Guild grew. When she captured the slaver that Ceria was on she immediately knew what Ceria was. Instead of taking Ceria as a prize per the pirate code she allowed Ceria the choice of leaving or staying with them.

Ceria stayed with the Pirates having seen things that she does not mention and one of them was the Red Fox being among them. as time passed Ceria began to advise Cyan about her feelings over planned missions and if they would be success or worse a disaster. Her foretelling brought the Red Fox under the pirates care. Cyan considers Ceria her right arm at the base and as such she often leaves the real job of running things to Ceria.

Now that the base is in winder mode Ceria has found that the Red Fox has magical tallent and has set out to teach her the ways of the Witches and perhaps open up another world to her. The Red Fox having come from another world had no reason to believe in magic. This has made the teachings very hard for both of them. Their was a brief bit of resistance before the Red Fox submitted to the ways but with a bit of harness work and some good old discipline she came to understand that Cyan and Ceria were holding the leash.

Ceria is one of the many races of the world. She is a short eared rabbit of a soft brown color. Saytar is populated with Wolves and a few of the Rabbit race. Proud and free desert nomads they very much like their way of life and do not want to be under the Sytar Sheiks thumb. Still her strange light blue eyes marked her as a Witch when she was young. She was brought up and taught the ways and was the best known and strongest of the witches.
