No really, I torture her just as much as I torture him, it's just not shown as much because gawd her fuckin' anatomy is too much for my garbage art skills (it's her boobs, man. boobs are surprisingly tough to draw on a reptilian-like mammal creature).

It makes much more sense oon my DA account, but long story short;
The Nidoqueen you see there is named Fastener, and the Typhlosion/Ursaring mix is named Razzle.
and this is just him hopelessly fantasizing about the relationship that they could be having.
Razzle is very much in love with Fastener and desperately wants to be her mate but the more he tries to get closer to her (in terms of romance/love) she either pushes him away or she runs off. she does like and care about him (way more than what she lets on) but her instincts scream for her to stay away from him, again, in terms of romance, and just keep it as a 'friends/teammate' sort of thing.
She won't admit it, but even though she really does have feelings for him, deep down inside she's absolutely terrified of him.
a few years back when she was a Nidorina and he had just evolved into a Typhlosion he did something so horrifying that she could no longer see him as the sweethearted Quilava he once was. she still acts quite friendly around him but in a way it's also something of a "I've got my eye on you" sort of thing.
