I have a Noodler's ink that does that naturally. Don't know why he thought blue with a magenta undercoat would work, but it looks interesting in any case XD

It's called Blue Upon the Plains of Abraham. It's an exclusive only available at a tobacconist/pen store in Toronto. It's a good enough colour, but temperamental; leave it unattended for too long and it clogs the nib, especially if the pigment-base balance is off.

If I haven't scared you off, I could send you a vial; just had someone send me a few empties and a vial of Ottoman Azure in exchange for a sample of it. :)

You know, I’ve observed that while a lot of people have favorite colors—some like red, others green, still others blue—most folks aren’t notably passionate about their favorites . . . except for those who like purple. Every “purple person” I’ve ever met has gone miles further in the “everything must be my favorite color!” direction than anyone else. I’ve never figured out why.

huh, good point. I love purple, though I've always said my favorite color was yellow.
I just dyed my hair purple, partially. I must like it.
