Been a really busy week for me, both at my day job and in the studio. Have not had a chance to post my latest Equestria dreamscape sequence so instead have some more previews drawings of folks you'll be seeing later in my dreamscape. I find it interesting how my subconscious interpreted Queen Chrysalis, she definitely has a more reptilian quality to her in my version.

Interesting, I guess my subconscious could've dredged memories from seeing it years ago but I've felt she has more of a snake head feel to her.

The leg holes in this version look more like they are the result of battle damage, disease, or some kind of physical corruption that may be prevalent among changelings or evil-aligned creatures.
I can't shake the feeling that Vipera managed to find her way into Equestria, and this is how she manifested. If that's the case, the country is going to get steamrolled by cut-throat (sometimes literally), shapechanging capitalists.
Either way, is Chrysalis more competent in your dreamscape than she was in the show? It could go either way here, there is a considerable arrogant streak in these portraits that may or may not override good judgement.
